The new education centre at the National Gallery is due to open in Q4 2024. As part of the National Galleries 200th anniversary and as part of the Sainsbury Wing refurbishment, the education centre represents a considerable investment in our nations most prestigious gallery.
Technical arts were chosen as technical partners to develop, supply and install the audio-visual scheme in conjunction with Arup and the Trustees of the National Gallery.

The lighting and audio design of this significant space required both thoughtful aesthetic design as well as carefully consideration for the visually and audio-impaired visitors. Assistance devices such as induction loops for those using hearing aids were implemented so that the education services are available to all.
